My complete story about how I got into marketing and paid advertising.

My professional journey wasn't linear, nor built around a single specialization. It was an accumulation of contexts, markets, and decisions that gradually led me toward performance marketing and online advertising viewed as a growth system, not as an isolated tactic.

I started in environments where marketing meant exposure, image, and experience: events, hospitality, and premium brands. I worked and lived in Dubai, London, and Hong Kong — contexts where the stakes weren't just creativity, but discipline, structure, and the direct link between decisions and results. There I learned that marketing only works when it's connected to money, behaviors, and economic reality.

The transition to digital marketing and paid advertising wasn't a change of direction, but a natural continuation. When visibility was no longer enough, measurement became essential. When messages were attractive, it became clear they also needed to be relevant. And when budgets were limited, every decision began to matter.
Working with businesses from different industries, I quickly noticed a pattern: problems don't arise from a lack of tools or tactics, but from the lack of a system that connects strategy, execution, and financial reality. Advertising doesn't fail because platforms don't work, but because it's treated in isolation, without context and without clear decision criteria.

For me, marketing became a way to understand how people think and make decisions. Analysis and data met observation and intuition, and advertising became a tool for validation and control — not a gamble.

In 2024 I founded DAFE Digital, my agency, where we work with businesses that don't just seek campaigns, but a sustainable way to grow online. Ads are used as part of a broader system: for testing, acceleration, and clarity, not as a universal solution.

AdelaMincea.ro is the space where I organize these ideas. It's not about "recipes" or quick promises, but about the real mechanisms behind marketing, advertising, and online growth. I write for entrepreneurs, marketers, students, and professionals who want to understand what happens beyond execution.
